Chapter 88

Never before have I been in a position to let a bill go by without paying it, and to let a discontinuation notice arrive.  But, that's what I've had to do.  Meanwhile, just before the drop-dead date arrives, something comes in (by His grace) that allows me to keep the wolves at bay.  PTL.

Next Tuesday I have an interview in Lynchburg, VA.  Strategically, this would place us nearer to the heart of bluegrass country and almost in the middle of horse territory - where Stephen and Ashley would like to be.  The opportunity looks like a good one.  Pray also that all the knots would be tied, the i's dotted and the t's crossed, should this be the Lord's direction and leading.

Thanks!

- Keith

Praise God for His faithfulness, grace and mercy on His children. So undeserving we are, yet He still tends to our true needs. I'll be praying about the job in Lynchburg, sounds like a great opportunity. A time to be excited, but also full of sorrow in having to leave wonderful friends. But God has His ultimate plan in place, so we can rejoice and take comfort in that. Amen!!!!! God bless you and your family Keith!

I guess I cheated a little by checking with my bro first, but I would say "Dock sis". We have DSL, though.

Thanks for the comment Keith, digging in God's word always brings struggles with understanding, especially in Revelation Some of that stuff I trully believe God doesn't mean for us to grasp. I believe He loves us to seek Him with all our heart though, even though we don't always understand what we are reading and studying. Hope the company interested in you makes a decision soon if they haven't already. Nothing much worse than waiting for one job one another might pass you by, but that's where faith in our incredible God and Father comes in. He has it all worked out, we only trust Him. Hope you hear something this week brother! God bless!

Well then, if it's God's will for you to have the job, then the preferred candidate will turn the offer down. If he accepts then God has something even better in store for you is how I see it! The great thing is God has it under control, can we just be patient for His timing in things. Glad it's still a possibilty, may God's will be done!

I cannot BELIEVE I have let this much time pass before visiting your site but I made it priority to get over here and FINALLY HERE I AM!!!

Well, our communication has not been what I would want it to be lately because of everything going on in each of our lives...but I do want you to know how much I do love and appriciate you and your wife..(and obviously your family lol). I have been praying extensively that everything works out according to God's will with this job in Lynchburg, and all the MANY things up the air right now! I have obviously never been in your shoes before...and I can image how much of a test it is for you. Patience is NOT one of my best areas...you would think with everything God has tried to teach me in my life I would have it down pat by now!!! ha, yea right. So pray for me, it's hard for me to be patient. I know that God will do something but I just get wearied in waiting for Him so often!!  I was telling Stephen how lately I haven't known how to pray specifically because I don't know where God wants my family, your family, and our family. But I do know that God is faithful...and I KNOW that He is going to work it all out...in a way that none of us even thought of, I'm sure. That  always happens with me in my life it seems. I am such an analitical person that I try to figure it all out and "present" my plan to God and say  "There God ! I figured it aaaall out. Isn't that a nice plan??". lol, What a foolish thing to do.

So meanwhile, I wait, I work, I pray...I go about my daily life here missing a certain son of yours more than I ever thought possible and praying that God work...quickly!! ...on His time of course....soon!!....according to His will....in the near future!!! ...the way He wants to. :)

       in Him...
