RYC on my post: That's a great point Keith, but I still would say God didn't change His mind BECAUSE Moses was persistant, it was because of Moses' persistance that God was able to use him in His ultimate plan. That's what so baffles my mind, is that God choses to use us when we DO humble ourselves and pray and ASK.When I get a chance , my next post is going to a continuation. I have a couple more thoughts that I believe God has layed on my heart to share. I have SOOO much dead time while driving around doing inspections, that my thoughts are on God most of the day. There were a lot of things yesterday that came to mind but I've lost the jest of the thoughts. I really should get a little tape recorder and record my thoughts when they come to me while driving. Anyway, hopefully this weekend I can put some more thoughts out there. Have a great one Keith!

Do you mean the statement HIS WORD GIVES LIFE that I said? If so, God's word breathed into us was what gave us life, and God's word thru Christ is what gives us eternal life. Without God's word thru Christ we are dead and can do nothing, a dead man can do nothing but be dead. Not sure I understand what you are saying, I'm slow sometimes!

I need to have a Bible up here at my office. When get home I'll look at John 5:39. It should be pretty fresh on my mind, I just got thru reading John and I'm in Acts now. Hopefully I can do a post tonight. I'm taking the weekend off from work. This 103-106 degree weather we've had here the last 2 weeks has drained me. Think I'll stay inside tomorrow and do some painting Have a great weekend Keith.

Hello there! Yes, I heard about the concert from Sarah! All the best for that!!

The work here in the mission is going well. We did a week or 2 ago on Women's Day in 3 malls in this area and similar missions did the same in different parts of the country...so that was awesome! We're also still doing missionary field trips up Africa and such. My work, personally, in the bookshop is also going well...have always got something to do, lol!

And on your post here, Mr. Hills shared that verse with me when he made the point that though it's AWESOME Christians get excited about the Word, it is possible to lose sight of the Person who actually wrote it while enraptured in it's pages...his point being, the Scriptures point us to CHRIST!!! I appreciated that insight. Hopefully I explained that in an understanding way...it's getting late...and you know how I get when that happens.
